Nice tax return this year = new guitar, stoked!
Just got back from Pennsylvania last night. Got to visit with family and enjoy the twins’ first birthday. It is nice to be home in DC though. Next week I’m playing at Solly’s with Sean k Preston and Filthy Still, which I am very much looking forward to!
For now I’m working, and tomorrow maybe I’ll get the time to work on a couple of new tunes…

So I got to hang with Sean k Tuesday night, and he’s is cool with me jumping on the bill for his gig at Solly’s tavern February 7th with Filthy Still! I am stoked about this show, it’s gonna be awesome! If you’ve never heard Filthy, definitely check them out. I love those guys.

So the show went pretty good at the shop the other night. No one booed me off stage, and we even made some tip money. Not a bad start at all.. I will do it again soon. Hopefully some other shows as well, and maybe a weekend tour during the summer.
Playing is good cuz it always gives me a nice idea of which songs are “ready” to play. I’ve got like eight or nine written now,...

Good day
Sopa has been pulled from the house of representatives. That makes me hopeful that the government isnt completely full of idiots. Also Lucero is steaming a new tune on their site today.. Excellent!

Fuck sopa. Seriously. If you have time to read tumblr and look at my dumb blog, you have time to call your senator and tell him or her that sopa sucks an that you’ll be changing your vote if they don’t kill sopa/pipa in the senate.
If nothin else, do it for me. Cuz you love me…
Five or so hours til show time. Nervous.
So Tuesday is the first show I’ll be playing with this project. Part of this documenting experiment will be to get either a sound recording or video from every show I play, as well as simply keeping track and keeping a flyer or something from each show. Later on down the road, once I have an actual website, I’ll try to keep an archive open of all the audio and video I get. Hopefully...

Stoked to go into the studio later this month… Got a lot of stuff to work on and some pretty interesting stuff in the works so far. It’s going to be a crazy year if everything pans out correctly.
